The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) has made internships mandatory for diploma students to help them gain practical knowledge and see how their skills are used in the real world. These internships also allow companies to get help at a lower cost. However, there is a challenge, especially for students in fields like CS, IT, AI, ML, and Electronics, as not many companies are willing to take in polytechnic students for internships.
